For the past couple of years, James has worked at a series of workshop events aimed at encouraging creativity amoung young people - illustrating how being creative can not only be fun, but a great way to work with others and find some unusual solutions to different problems!

Through the Quarry Grove Interactive Workshops, alongside author Clive Tandy, James attended a series of school workshops focusing on the importance of using school resources, co-operation and the developing self-expression. These were aimed primarily at years 2-5.

James is a keen support of environmental awareness. Issues concerning recycling, climate change and energy waste are optional factors that James is always happy to employ in the workshops. In the past, James has worked closely with local authorities to help find new ways to make green issues dynamic and exciting for children.

In the past, James has worked with several clients on environmental issues, and has co-written and illustrated material used in ecology exhibitions aimed at children and adults. He has also illustrated colouring books and promotional campaigns to highlight awareness to protecting our planet.
